http://www.gulfuniversity.net/registration.JPGContinuing students and new students, who have been accepted for admission to the university can register for any of the courses by GU at the beginning of each semester.

Registration Procedures

  • Registration for the first (Fall) semester begins in September. Registration for the second (Spring) semester takes place in January. Registration for the Summer semester takes place in May. Early registration is also permitted for students who wish to do so.
  • Student should select their courses in consultation with their Academic Advisors at the College and must complete the GU registration form.
  • Registration forms, once completed, must be checked over and signed by the appropriate Academic Advisor and a Registration officer at the university.
  • Once students have paid their fees they are issued a Student ID card.
  • All students must complete registration by the first day of classes.

Students who change their registration, i.e. add or drop a course or withdraw from one should consult the Registration Department.

Registration Requirements

  • The GU's application form accompanied by all your transcripts and documents, four recent photographs, and a BD 25 for processing your application. Each student is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of his/her registration forms.
  • In the case of transfer students or applicants who earned accredited courses in the past they are required to specify all relevant information regarding their previous academic background.
  • Applicants with cumulative grades below 70% are placed in a rigorous Orientation Program which ensures the proficiency of the student's applicant in English, Mathematics, and computer applications.
  • GU does not have an exemption examination policy. Rather every application will be assessed by its own merit.
