| GULF UNIVERSITY ADMISION REQUIRMENTS |

Admission Requirements
- For a Bachelor Degree - Direct entry applicants who have a high school educational background with 70% and above can apply for a Bachelor's program*
- For a Master Degree - Applicants must have a Bachelor degree with a level of 'Good' and above*.
- For a Doctoral Degree - Applicants must have a Master degree with a level of 'Good' and above*.
- For the University of London Program - TOEFL is needed and the student should obtain a score of 550 (250 computer) or better by the end of the preparatory year at GU.
or
- IELTS: should obtain a score of 5.0 with no band score less than 4.5.
- SAT: the minimum scores as prescribed by the University of London Bulletin (Optional and not Mandatory).
High school grades in language and science subjects will be taken into consideration.

Direct entry applicants with less than 70% of school grades must attend the GU Orientation Program, which consist in the academic year of three evening courses namely: Remedial English; Advanced Math; and Advanced Computer Applications.

Transfer student applicants must have a GPA with no less than 2.00. They will be also evaluated on their ability and aptitude in the English language.

In either case, GU requires some evidence about the students' proficiency in English both in oral and in written form.

Students are required to sign the application form after filling it according to instructions given.
*Applicants who do not achieve the above levels are required to do the GU placement test. |
