The Gulf University library collections are housed on campus. Furthermore multiple computer terminals that are connected to a multitude of search engines and E-libraries support the library. The planned educational resources for the Gulf University Library include the most relevant and latest collection of databases, electronic journals, microforms, maps, films, videos, archives, sound recordings, compact discs. Materials have been selected to support the instructional and research programs of the University. The stocks in each library are open to all members of the academic community and also, under certain circumstances, to the public. Reference services are offered at the Universitys library.

The reference materials available on the E-library are from renowned publishers such as Archive Photos, Reuters, Simon and Schuster, Gannett, and Times Mirror. E-Library also incorporates a host of local, ethnic and special interest publications. A sample list of the thousands of sources, includes:

Newspapers/Newswires: USA Today, The Atlanta Constitution, Dallas Morning News, Reuters, Baseball Weekly, Gannett News Service, Jerusalem Post, La Prensa, Magill's Survey of Cinema, Newsbytes News Service, U.S. Newswire, ITAR/TASS News Agency, Newsday, The Philadelphia Tribune, and many more.

Magazines/Journals: Newsweek, Discover, Forbes, Time, InternetWeek, U.S. News & World Report, Art Journal, The Economist, Editor & Publisher, National Review, Publisher, Inc., Maclean's, Mother Jones, New Republic, Psychology Today, Saturday Evening Post, World Press Review, and hundreds more.
