GU has adopted the credit hours system, which is the main system that applies in most of American Universities. Both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students are required to complete specific credit hours to be offered the required degree which in turn gives the students a wide range of elective subjects. The study during the academic year is offered over two main semesters (fall and spring) and a summer semester, helping students to complete their degrees in a shorter period of time. Moreover, as a part of the graduation requirements for the students, co-op experience is mandatory. The students are required to complete specific applied training and submit an acceptable report.
