| GULF UNIVERSITY - EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM |
|
GU has adopted the credit hours system, which is the main system, applied in most of the American Universities. Both Undergraduate and postgraduate students are required to complete specific credit hours to be offered the required degree. This gives the students a wide range of elective subjects. Moreover, the study during the academic year is offered over two main semesters (fall and spring) and two summer semesters, which helps students to complete their degrees in a shorter period of time. Moreover, as a part of the graduation requirements for the students, co-op experience is mandatory. The students are required to complete specific applied training and submit an acceptable report. Studying abroad is another exposure opportunity for the students.
