Amid an atmosphere of pride and accomplishment, Gulf University achieved an exceptional milestone during the 2024–2025 academic year by winning three prestigious awards, reaffirming its position as one of Bahrain’s and the region’s leading educational institutions.
At the forefront of these achievements is His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s Award for Journalism, a national honor and recognition of the university’s role in supporting meaningful media, strengthening societal values, and reinforcing the national message in journalism.
The university was also named “Most Recommended University” in the Times Higher Education Rankings 2024, an international acknowledgment reflecting the global academic community’s confidence in the quality of education and services Gulf University provides. This distinction highlights its success in offering an advanced, integrated learning environment.
In the field of innovation and technology, Gulf University earned the Bahrain Digital Content Award 2025 (BDCA 2025) in recognition of its innovative initiatives in developing digital content and leveraging modern technologies to serve education and the wider community.
Professor Mohanad Al-Firas, President of Gulf University, expressed his pride in these accomplishments, stating:
